Quintana of Charyn was released last week in Australia, but it's still on its way to being released in North America. Thanks to Raquel S. at Candlewick for allowing us to reveal the fierce cover for the North American edition of Quintana!

Previous books in the Lumatere Chronicles

Quintana of Charyn by Melina Marchetta
Release Date: March 12, 2013 | Pages: 528 | Publisher: Candlewick

Pre-order: Amazon - Barnes & Noble - Book Depository

The climactic conclusion of Printz Award winner Melina Marchetta’s epic fantasy trilogy!

Separated from the girl he loves and has sworn to protect, Froi and his companions travel through Charyn searching for Quintana and building an army that will secure her unborn child’s right to rule. While in the valley between two kingdoms, Quintana of Charyn and Isaboe of Lumatere come face-to-face in a showdown that will result in heartbreak for one and power for the other. The complex tangle of bloodlines, politics, and love introduced in Finnikin of the Rock and Froi of the Exiles coalesce into an engrossing climax in this final volume.

Happy Release Day!

Quintana of Charyn is finally out in Australia! Yay! Happy release day to Melina Marchetta! If you don't live in Australia or can't wait for the North American edition to be released in March 2013, Quintana of Charyn can be ordered through Fishpond, which provides free worldwide shipping.

In other news, 132 Minutes reached 10,000 pageviews yesterday! Thanks to all those who have visited and continue to visit this page. We love you, Melina!

Update on Quintana of Charyn blog tour

Thanks to everyone who has signed up so far to participate in the Quintana of Charyn blog tour! The blog tour will begin November 1, and sign-ups will be closing on September 30. If you're interested, please go to the sign-up post HERE.

We know not everyone will be able to get their hands on a copy of Quintana of Charyn from Australia, so just another reminder that you don't have to read the book to join the blog tour. Your post can be about anything relating to the Lumatere Chronicles! :)

If you signed up before today, you should have received an email from us today. Didn't receive it? Please let us know as soon as possible because that email is very important! And if you have received it, please make sure you reply.

There will be another blog tour in March 2013 to coincide with the North American release. Sign-ups for that one will open later, and more details about that tour will be released probably near the end of the year.

Any questions about the blog tours can be left in the comments or sent to us via email.

Quintana of Charyn Prologue

Melina Marchetta has posted the prologue to Quintana of Charyn! The prologue is in Quintana's point of view, and you can read what Melina has to say about Quintana's perspective on GoodReads. It's pretty fascinating. The prologue is pasted below, but please keep in mind that it contains MAJOR spoilers to the ending of Froi of the Exiles. So, don't read it unless you've already read Froi!
